Visiting San Francisco.

It's another one of my favorites. The city its self is glorious. It slightly reminds me of a warmer Chicago especially at this time of the year. I don't get a chance to visit San Francisco as much as I would like, however when I do I try to make the most of it.

There are several areas that I would recommend while visiting the city.

The first one on top of my list is Fisherman's Wharf. The words can't describe how beautiful this part of the town is.

Where to stay?

The hotels in this area are stunning. The hotel I always stay at when visiting San Fransico is St Regus. Being a member of Starwood Prefered program does pay.

Despite its luxury, St Regus has much more to offer. One of the things I do enjoy about staying in luxury hotels is the service they provide. Sometimes when traveling you don't feel like you are home, while feeling you are away from home. It's confusing I know.

Where to eat?

Just like any large city, it comes with endless choices. If you are like me and like to kick it late night evening then, of course, your hotel restaurant surely won't disappoint. However, if you are traveling alone or with a beautiful date, then I would recommend Gary Danko. I am picky when it comes to food, and when I say picky believe me it's complicated, however, the food in this place will melt in your mouth. You can also see their menu before you visit, and just to remind you not to let the prices discourage you from going because when you leave you'll realize it was worth every penny, however, isn't it a time you splurge on your self a bit too? Don't forget to reward your self for all your hard work.

Where to go?

Where do I begin? I didn't explore the entire city, not just yet. The city is huge, so instead of naming you an entire list of recommendations, get a map and find what you like to visit? Doesn't that sound better than showing down recommendations and reviews down your throat?

However, I will give you one... O.K. perhaps maybe two. I can't resist.

Golden Gate Bridge (of course)
Alcatraz Island (don't get lost)
Fisherman's Wharf (be sure to stay and eat here, you won't regret it)
Pier 39. (find out yourself)
Take a ride on that awesome cable train.

O.K. so perhaps maybe that was more than couple recommendations, however, there is more! Much Much More!!!! I hope this article helps your little adventure in San Fransico next time you visit and don't forget to also check out the amazing architecture all around you.
